The ASP Process – our unique 5 step process to designing the best sporting courts possible
Sporting courts are an investment. So it pays to get them right the first time. But for most people, it’s easier said than done.
This is why you need a professional to guide you to the end result you desire. There are many considerations that need to be made. From choosing the exact type of court, to making sure it will fit into your space, and every detail between.
To handle this process with ease is no easy task, which is why we at All Sport Projects have developed a 5 step process that makes it simple.
Step 1: Consultation
A well-designed sporting court can perform to optimum levels for decades, but choosing the best design is not always easy.
Tennis and netball courts require a higher degree of specification than, say, basketball or five-a-side football courts. For example, you need to take into account the expected playing times in a given day, the number of layers of surfacing required for a particular sport and whether you will require floodlighting.*
There are many factors that need to be considered before making your final choice. That’s why here at All Sport Projects we offer a unique consultation service which gives you the peace of mind that your chosen surface and base system will last the distance. We start with a free site visit to evaluate your requirements, then discuss your options with you and give you all the facts to help you make an informed decision.
A member of our experienced team comes out to see you at your site and discusses your proposed plans in detail. We will show you examples of previous work and look at samples of different material finishes so you can see different options available. We will also advise on any local authority regulations that may affect your designs. If necessary we can also assist in the building application process.
Step 2: Design
Once you have decided on the type of court that is right for you or your business/complex/sports centre, it is time for us to design.
Our in-house design team can offer you a large selection of different designs to choose from, all of which are guaranteed to suit your premises and local environment. Your chosen design will be drawn up and produced using sophisticated CAD software, after which we can discuss any necessary changes with you before finalising your order.
All Sporty Projects creates a bespoke service for every customer in order to ensure that they get exactly what they want from their new court.
Once you have approved the design, our team can help you with planning permission prior to commencing the construction phase.
Step 3: Manufacturing
At All Sport Projects we use the best quality materials in the construction of our courts with a complete ‘in house’ manufacturing facility on the Gold Coast to ensure no delays, with everything made locally.
Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Netball Courts and Multi-Purpose Synthetic Sports Surfaces are all manufactured here for delivery to your site prior to on-site construction starting.
We manufacture our own court components right here on site including fencing, basketball and netball backstops, goal frames and poles. We make our own floodlighting towers and poles in house as well as our own light fittings and transformers, ensuring that your court project is managed on time.
From experience we know that the majority of breakdowns in the construction process can be attributed to waiting on other contractors or suppliers, therefore we have a complete manufacturing facility onsite to ensure minimal delays in getting your court built.
Step 4: Installation
Once everything for your court has been manufactured locally, we will deliver it to your site for construction.
Of course, your site preparation, clearing, and court base construction can be well and truly underway whilst we are manufacturing the rest of your court requirements.
Your dedicated project manager will ensure that you are always kept in the loop with every stage of your court project, and will work to keep your project on schedule.
You only ever have to deal with one company – we don’t outsource to other contractors, and you don’t need to deal with other building companies for your court construction project. All Sport Projects are a one-stop shop through the entire process.
This isn’t just a one-off sale either – once your project has begun you will have someone dedicated to supporting you through every stage of the process. You won’t need to wait weeks or months between each step or chase up builders or contractors – everything happens on time and our friendly staff will keep you up-to-date every step of the way.
With our professional preparation and construction, your new court will be guaranteed to last for years to come.
Step 5: Quality Control & Handover
After your court construction has been finalised your surface is tested, the entire project area is cleaned, and we take you through the steps to loving and taking care of your new court!
You will be trained on all of the maintenance steps required to keep your courts in pristine shape and extend their life. Alternatively, you can arrange to have us maintain your courts and fencing with an ongoing maintenance contract.
Warranty is signed off and your courts are officially handed over for you to enjoy!
